Someone Inverted the Polarity

I am currently writing this article on the battery power of my smartwatch. Why? Well, I’ll tell you.
We hired a new IT team for the building. They said that because the old server room was on the second floor, they had to rebuild everything on a different level. “It’s a miracle it had not all come crashing down,” said the new head of IT.
So, Human resources, being as cheap as they are, hired the least competent people this planet has come to know, and instead dumped a bunch of money on hiring the new Head of IT. “It was supposed to offset our inexpensive IT team’s obvious incompetence” said the HR representative.
Three of the twenty servers had been rebuilt when a switch encountered a firmware error. The crack IT team quickly got to work over the course of three days.
Someone came up with the brilliant plan of reversing the polarity of the building’s fuse box, whilst removing all the fuses.
So, a bit of background on our building: HR (again) contracted the absolute worst building constructor and they designed our building with DC Power. We have had to order custom computer chargers, but so far it has been not enough of a priority to offset the costs of rewiring everything.
Thus, the polarity was inverted.
Power started firing the opposite direction that it was supposed to. It fried every electronic along the way, including the troublesome switch. Every light has burst, every computer started smoking, everything connected to the building’s power got shut down.
The smaller buildings in the HuntPost Campus were designed by people with brains, and thus had AC Power. We currently have a small team of volunteers buying and daisy chaining power strips to the main building. We are also looking into rewiring the building now.
Where are these guys getting their degrees?
